What is Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control?

Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control is a custom control written for any ActiveX Client to simplify the process of querying Finger servers. Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control allows a programmer easy access to Finger Information from a server running the Finger service.

Creating Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control instance in Visual Basic

You can have as many instances of Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control as you deem necessary.

Creating Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control in other ActiveX clients

Add the control to your application in the manner you use to add other ActiveX components. You can also instantiate Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control at run time.

Visual Basic Information

First, make sure that the Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control custom control is part of your project. Start Visual Basic with your project and choose Tools | Components for VB5 and VB6, and choose "Seekford Solutions, Inc. Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control" and click OK.

Drawing Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control on your form

After you've added the control to your project, the Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control icon appears in the Visual Basic Toolbox window.

To put it on the form, click on the new Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control icon and draw a control on the form. To use the functionality of Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control, you must have at least one instance of Finger Wizard v3 ActiveX Control.
